What are the Applications and how do they work?

The Applications section includes a series of additional modules, designed to extend the key-functionality available in the control panel of your online shop.

Installing applications is optional, depending on the settings that you want to activate in your shop. This section includes apps developed by ShopMania BIZ, and also third-party apps, developed by our partners.

Depending on the functionality types, the apps are divided in several categories, such as: apps for Product catalog, Marketing apps, Payment apps, Billing apps, Design apps etc.

In order to install an app, go to the Settings / Applications menu, place the mouse over the desired app, click on the Install application button and follow the steps indicated. When installing apps that are based on integrations with third-party services, you may be required to provide certain identification data, generated by the third-party service that you want to activate by installing the application.

Installing certain apps (e.g., Billing app) will result in the activation of specific additional options that can be further accessed from the main menu of the control panel.

In order to change the settings of an app, after it has been installed, go to the Settings / Applications menu, move the mouse over the app, access the settings menu and then the Update option. Depending on their type, some apps may not involve additional settings to be updated.

In order to uninstall an app, go to the Setting / Applications menu, place the mouse on the app, access the settings menu and then the Uninstall application option.
Important! After uninstalling an app, depending on the app type, the content that has been associated with this app will also become unavailable.

The apps can be accessed from the Settings / Applications menu.
