What are the settings that can be used for the automated product import?

Before scheduling the automated product import process, you need to define several settings for it (settings with which you are already familiar from the bulk product import).

In the Import settings page, you need to add the product import URL, and to set additional details that may refer to: file encoding, file type (CSV, XLS or XML), file format (filed separator and enclosing etc.). You can also review the file's column mapping settings, and choose the procedures concerning the image copying, or adding new categories and manufacturers.

In addition to these settings, you can choose whether the products that are no longer present in the datafeed will be delisted or not (the Deactivate missing products section) and if the action is applied to all the existing products, or just to the ones present in the current import.
